J. Eric Chisholm practices in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and Personal Injury. He is a 2000 graduate cum laude of Salem State College and a 2003 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Chisholm was an enlisted member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1995 until 2001. While attending Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Chisholm was a member of the Voluntary Prosecutor’s Clinic representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a 3.03 certified Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted minor felonies and misdemeanors. After graduating law school, Mr. Chisholm represented claimants throughout the United States filing for disability before the Social Security Administration in addition to litigating industrial injury claims in Massachusetts before the Department of Industrial Accidents. Mr. Chisholm’s practice is concentrated mainly in the area of workers’ compensation, representing injured workers before the Department of Industrial Accidents. Mr. Chisholm is admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Chisholm is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is also a frequent lecturer on the topic of workers’ compensation law at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminars.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Recipients of the “Rising Stars” designation must be under 40 years of age, and have been in practice less than 10 years, but have the same degree. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list
